Some Van-tastic News

As many will know, earlier this year we started our new "Pop-up" Baby Bank initiative to provide our services further into the community at social events across the district. Our pop-ups were really well received and have been a great success, but it was clear that to make all the extra travel and hauling donations around work over the longer term, we really had to find a bit of investment.

 

Only a few months on and not only have we been sucessful in our application for Lottery funding, but we wasted no time in putting that money to good use!

Thanks to the funding we've now been able to buy, tax and insure a van to help transport all your amazing donations, getting them where they are needed most! With the extra bit left over we will also be hiring a sign writer to do a vinyl wrap on the vehicle to help raise awareness, as well as kitting out the interior with storage to keep things safe, secure and organised!!!
